This presentation will be delivered by François Vincentelli and Bernard Gillain, shareholders of the insurance brokerage company B-Safe sa. The topic will be introduced by Yasar Tumbas, former head of insurance companies.

 

B-safe Insurance Brokers

This insurance broker specializes in the field of industrial and commercial enterprises, as well as SMEs and individuals associated to them. Their strategy was developed so as to respond to the growing concern of customers looking for high added value partners in this changing market.

B-Safe is completely independent. It’s the founder of a Belgian network of insurance brokers IBN and represents the international network Eubronet in Belgium.

The firm has developed privileged ties with major insurance markets, thus offering a wide range of subscription opportunities to their clients.

François Vincentelli

François Vincentelli is Partner, President and Managing Director of B-Safe (since 2003). Prior to fulfilling this position, Mr Vincentelli was International Accounts Manager at Sedgwick Insurance Brokers Belgium (Thilly Van Eessel sa) from 1983 to 1992. Later on, he decided to work for Willis Corroon Belgium as a Network Country Manager (Insurance Brokers from 1992 to 1999) and then held the position of Managing Director at Atelia Corporate – SIACI & Jardins International Insurance Brokers (between 1999 and 2003).

 

Bernard Gillain

Bernard Gillain is Partner and Director of B-Safe (since 2003). Prior to assuming this position, Mr Gillain was Client Service Manager at Assaubra in Brussels (Insurance Broker) from 1988 to 1994. Later on, he decided to work for Willis Corroon Belgium as an International Accounts Officer (Insurance Broker) from 1994 to 1999 and then occupied the position of Regional Office Director at Atelia in Antwerp (Insurance Broker) from 1997 to 2003.

EVENT REPORT

 François Vincentelli and Bernard Gillain, professionals from the insurance sector presented key insurance notions that entrepreneurs and businessmen should know about in order to protect their assets and get their business off to a good start. Mr.Tümbas introduced the subject and made interesting comparisons of the insurance market in Belgium and Turkey. Mr. Vincentelli & Mr. Gillain underlined the advantages of hiring an insurance broker instead of directly contacting an insurance company or a bank. They ended the seminar by giving advices to the participants on how to manage their insurance contracts.
