European Professional Network (EPN) organised a dinner programme in partnership with the Golden Rose association where around 85 professionals from diverse sectors participated and had the chance to meet with each other.
The idea behind this event is to provide a platform for networking as well as to give a fresh start to the new activity-year for our association.
The event started with the opening speech of the secretary-general of the Golden Rose and continued with the secretary-general of EPN, who emphasized on the importance of such gatherings amongst like-minded people. He especially stressed on two big projects that EPN would shoulder soon and asked for an active support from the guests.
The first project is called `Breakfast Talks` and will be organized regularly on every last Sunday with a monthly basis. Every gathering around breakfast will be accompanied by an intimate talk with the participation of prominent figures in Europe.
The second project is the establishment of the sub-platforms under EPN according to different sectors that professionals are employed. There will be 10 platforms and three of them, namely Law Platform (LP), Engineers Platform (EP), and IT Platform (ITP), will start functioning as of October 2011.
The programme ended up with desserts and exchange of business cards.
