The Law Platform is one of the sub-platforms, which has started functioning under European Professionals Network a few months ago.  Its main task will be to build up a synergy amongst law professionals by bringing them together on different occasions and to try to involve them in societal projects.

The Law Platform is a voluntary-based organisation with 6 law professionals in the executive committee. Concerning the projects and events, the platform will realise one societal project, organise at least three events and try to increase the reputation by performing visits and meetings with both public and private institutions.

In order to make this initiative better known among law professionals, the Law Platform organised a launch & reception on the 8th of December. Although this is a very recent project, 32 professionals attended the programme and expressed their support for this inspiring initiative.

Mohamed Ozdemir, the director of the platform, explained in his opening speech the objectives and future plans and stressed on the importance of forming a synergy amongst law professionals both for their professional career and their active contribution to the societal problems.

Esra Uctu, the adjunct-director of the platform, stated that as the Law Platform they had 6 people in the executive committee and they wanted to increase this number with more voluntary engagement from the law professionals. She also said that the platform will have its next activity in March where law professionals would come together with law students at universities.

The event also got the attention of representatives from international institutions like NATO and permanent representations in Brussels.
